As a coder you think mainly in terms of theory and then just creating the code quite simple really, but design wise it much different firstly there it the visual aspect that's the most important keeping the flow and everything depth. If you go from coding to designing or in my case now designing > coding then designing again is it ever possible to be at you best for both?

I think it may be possible.. You just need to separate your thoughts. When designing, think creatively and use the artistic talents that you know you have. When coding, think simply and theoretically, really. It can be difficult, but once you master the way of switching between the thought processes and use of designing and coding, I think you would be able to master both and be pretty decent in both.
